Great to see we vision, utter rubbish appointment.
Even if we get to the championship Ferguson has shown on more than one occasion he is out of his depth
Going to be a long 3 years

Truly shocking appointment by the man who has completely run out of ideas on how to run a football club.

Ferguson has won 36 of his last 121 League One matches and the owners think he's the man to take the club forward.

Thanks for the good times Darragh but time to start listening to offers for the club.

Suprising appointment I have to be honest but I'm neither for or against as ANYONE was better than the previous clown.

I thought it intersting that the statement states "The style of play, production of young players and taking on young and hungry talent and developing those players is what Peterborough United is renowned for and in the last 18 months we have veered away from that"

Nice for the club to finally admit that they got it horribly wrong with Evans but guessing it means yet another summer of huge changes to the playing staff. Still we should hopefully get rid of the Evans dross (if anyone will take these jokers of course).

Evans had his "dross" in the play-offs when he got sacked. That must make him some kind of miracle worker.

Ferguson has proved how good he is since he took over.

Congratulations Fergie, you wouldn't have been my first choice but as long as you are I shall support you and the club, as I did with Evans, Johnson, Fry, Wile, Hagan et al

He won't last three years I guarantee it. 18 months tops. Then we will be in that familiar position again of trying to find another cheap replacement.

.
Some miracle.

This team has been rubbish since losing to Barnsley and Barnsley during Autumn.

It took Evans getting the sack for you to notice. I doubt the club will miss you.

I've said for ages now that the chairman is taking this club backwards instead of forwards! The appointment of Fergie justs proves my point!

A match made in heaven. Failed manager taken on by desperate chairman. Fergie is clearly unfit for the job but he'll do as he's told, and he'll be cheap labour given his low stock. Why don't more folk not realise that we're being run by an egotistical clown?
