Accrington Stanley v Posh

Post by Steamy Nin » 28 Dec 2018, 20:23

Anybody going tomorrow ? Train services are a bit disjointed in the area, so we are getting a train to Manchester and then a bus to Accrington. I reckon it will be worth it though.

If only to hear Mr Evans say "That's another fine mess you've got me into, Stanley" or words to that effect.

The one thing that has to be a certainty is O'Malley must be in the starting line up

Ticket & hotel booked and paid for but I won't he going as car trouble means I need to that fixed. Blessing in disguise after the shambles at Barnsley.

Previously I would have said to hell with the car and got there by planes, trains & automobiles but there's no enthusiasm to watch these bunch of 'mentally strong' jokers that that horrible man has cobbled together.

Having your car fixed will probably be more exciting. I hope I'm wrong, but I fear another dire performance today against a good team who are difficult to beat on their home patch. Onwards and downwards. Evans out!

I’m convinced he hasn’t got a clue what he is doing, three wingers a lightweight midfielder and three strikers on the bench.

To be fair bristle, that team has a 2 goal lead and is playing well

Totally unexpected, the change to a diamond seems to have worked the oracle, the return to something like his best form by Dembele and another man of the match performance from Ivan the Great.

A much better performance right across the Board. Not World beaters, but definitely a big improvement. I enjoyed today.

Brilliant performance from Toney, their defence and their keeper were scared stiff of him.
