Chris Turner Statue Lights

Post by Wycliffe » 28 Nov 2018, 12:11

Hope everyone who saw it enjoyed Chris being lit up in Blue last night.
He will be in that colour every home game and significant dates in the clubs history.
Other times in one of the different colour available.

Many thanks to Trilux who donated the whole amazing set up.

James Bosett of JLB Electrical Services kindly agreed to fit it all in his own time and at his own expense although only a few weeks in to the project he wishes he had not but did a great job Clap great young electrician if you ever need one.

Lastly great appreciation to Steph Johnson POSH fan like James who is a lighting designer and sorted everything out including a data base fitting in the ground which when he explained it to me may as well have been something found on Mars.

I hope you also noticed the large and beautifully done info board all about Chris and the whole statue project, looks great and thanks to Joe Dent for sorting that out.

Lastly just to let you know our work doesn't stop there, we have some exciting news for in a few weeks about something that will enhance the area even more as well as some preventative work which will hopefully stop inconsiderate people driving over the kerb!

Thanks as ever for the support of all those who have donated, the club for their continued assistance and from me to my brilliant committee.

Great. Love the blue. Green and purple? I assume that white is an option?

yep, and red, also the colours can be mixed or different colours on each side.
Once we get it fully investigated we can get some kind of routine sorted but Blue will be the match day colour.

Looks good. His toe is already a little bit shiny.

Yeah I noticed that a few weeks ago

He will be in a 'special' colour very soon for a particular anniversary.
