PISA 2000. New Season

Post by Wycliffe » 31 Jul 2018, 17:42

Another season awaits us long suffering POSH fans, will it be exciting or disappointing?
We don’t know of course and following our club is rarely boring, certainly the close season has not been!

We at PISA 2000 are ready once more for another campaign and during the summer the committee have been discussing various ideas to freshen things up a bit.

On Saturday prior to the opening match of the season v Bristol Rovers we will be delighted to see you in our HQ at Ebenezers in Grove Street, if the heatwave is back the air conditioning will be a godsend.

Membership renewal will take place from 12 in the PISA side and as ever the big screen will show the live game (Sunderland v Charlton), cheap food and beer will be served and we, as a committee would love to meet up with existing, past or prospective members to chat about our plans for this season.

The table football will be in position for the kids to enjoy as ever.

One thing starting on Saturday is a new, fun prediction game that is replacing the long running correct score competition, this is something that will test your knowledge or perhaps just your luck but is great fun.

Come along and see us, if you haven’t been to Ebs you’ll be impressed by the POSH memorabilia we proudly have on the walls and the friendly welcome you will receive.

Looking forward to welcoming a lot of new faces tomorrow if private messages via various sites are anything to go by :clap2:

We are excited by some plans we have going ahead this season on a home (Saturday) match day as well as loads of plans for events on various evenings.

Come up and see us from 12, we have more than 3 beers, plenty of light and loads of POSH memorabilia.

Excellent first day

Very busy, lots of new faces as well as regulars and the new prediction game was well received and very popular with many more sold than the correct score competition.

Well done Mr feek :clap2:

Hope to see you pre Luton for the AGM starting at 1130 and then open as usual from 12
