LDSL..no goals one assist and of no use to the team...and Ward...non league player..are very fortunate not to be on the list but surely it's just a matter of time.

How long it takes to get rid of the deadwood remains to be seen....

I would have thought with your knowledge of football you would work out that we have just paid a relatively lerge fee for Ward and need to see if we can get some returm on it, LDSL despite everybody's constant criticism was probably our second best player against Pompey, I was there and saw ir so none of these sarky radio jibes. I like Grant so to see hime shown the door can only be a wages issue as it is with Taylor. We cant release either because we'd have to pay a fortune in compo. Getting shot of Taylor will be a huge problem, Grant less so because he is and will be a very useful asset at this level.

Keep LDSL & Ward but get rid Tayls & Grant?? So basically get rid of anyone you can't bully huh Uncle Stevie??? Absolute joke of a 'manager' who has already been shown up for the fraud he is (except by the We Love Uncle Stevie Club of course).
I don't think you are far wrong in your assessment. There is talk that he has alienated quite a few of the current squad but old hardened professionals like Grant and Taylor won't hold much truck with somebody like that at the helm. Criticism of players can be a very damaging approach to football management but maybe this is just what is required with this particular squad. He maybe quite correct in weedling out the sort of player that is not really prepared to put himself fairly and squarely on the line.
A tough line manager could maybe be the correct route for Posh in the future. DMac has tried many other avenues since Darren Ferguson left and all have come up slightly short of what he wants. At the end of the day we are all Posh supporters and we should support the club structure, whoever and whatever is in charge. For that reason only I wish Steve Evans and Paul Raynor a very successful tenure at our club. :comeon:

Someone's had a bank holiday epiphany!

Just buckle up and see what happens. Literally no point sweating it.

The other place will drive themselves insane over the summer raging about SE. I've never known such a negative forum.

Yep....So negative they are running a 5 years ago to the day thread about you know what...

We all know what happened..and how it's left us but is there any real need to keep dragging it up.

Even I think that's a harsh commentary of him now. The truth is, should he get us back into the championship next year, we'll all be singing his praises in twelve months.

Should be keeping Taylor and Grant all day long, and junior is a handy squad player at worst.

Can't argue with the rest.

Grant just too slow for a hard working midfield general. I hope he passes on to remaining players how he wins those free kicks in the middle of the field. He truly is the master at that
This website spent the last two seasons complaining the back four had no protection

Grant had given that aplenty time and again

To complain that he is too slow is like complaining Tom Daley does not swim fast enough

Both may be true, but look at what you do get from both, not the bits that you don’t get

Grants anticipation was worth so much more

Yep...We all know what club policy is regarding players going into the final year and those over 30.

Interesting that 2 players that Darragh was telling us would "go for millions" one day .. Anderson and Forrester.. are being pushed out the door. Forrester will find another club but who's touching Anderson now?

The management.. Coaching.. recruitment...and fitness training of many of our squad over the past 3/4 season has left a lot to be desired.

That needs to change now.

Forrester is a classic case of peaking and not selling soon enough

Anderson I feel most sorry for. His potential destroyed by injuries

Neither are suited to the hustle and bustle of league one football...They have to go.

Leo even more so...Which is why he's on borrowed time.

I can't help thinking Darragh has cut a deal with Evans on that one...
