Is there a game tomorrow, I thought by the other threads our season had finished and half the players had been sold. Maybe a few youngsters will get a rub out to replace the ones that have already left. Freestone, Cartwright, Borg. See you in Fratton peoples

Before the great and the good of the forum slap me down, I've heard a rumour that Maddison and Marriot are both likely to be left out

You may be right, you may not.

I can start a rumour though.

Leo will be captain.

Baldwin playing up front.

Taylor in goal.

These of course are made up but had i heard them from a source I would have at least explained the worthiness or otherwise of said source.

Go on then Nick do tell

As I said just a rumour, but if anyone has any sense the two would be left out. Why risk your biggest assets in a meaningless game. A reason why I was prepared to believe it.

If Baldwin did play up front he may add to his assists. Must be close to MM in that respect

580 reasons why to play them but on balance I agree.

My point however throwing in a rumour could just be someone making it up without a source reference

Absolutely. The loyal away fans will surely want to see, and pay their respects to one of our most recently crowned top performers. Marriott also deserves recognition too, eh Adi?

Good try old man.

I actually agree MM deserves some accolades.
To be up there stats wise and according to some being a world class player yet still be at a little 3rd division club after 3 years takes some doing.
Such great loyalty bearing in mind all the top clubs that have been in for him

We have that loyalty because we are Posh fans mate! So surprised for you to label the love of your life 'a little 3rd division club!' See you at Pompey maybe?

I am proud of that, don't see it as a negative thing whatsoever.
I can not imagine why you do tbh.
Whatever we achieve above where we are now is a tremendous achievement.

25 minutes and we’re 2-0 down.

Thank God it’s the last game of an entirely disappointing season.
