Accies fan here. Astounded you have signed Darren Lyon. A player with no pace, little physical presence and highly unlikely to create anything. When he left Accies we expected him to end up at Stenhousemuir or the likes.

Was rotten for us and no one was bothered when he chucked it as he was not getting played in his favourite position of centre midfield. He won't be too happy to see your manager saying he is a right back or a wing back :D

Can't see him playing for you unless you are decimated by injuries/suspensions.

Thanks for your opinion Gav. Always good to hear from other teams fans. Funnily enough, we were told the same about Mark O'Hara when he signed as well and he's started out like a house on fire.

He appears to have been brought in as back-up for Jason Naismith as suggested by Steve Evans and his contract duration to replace the departed Adam King. Not going to lie - never heard of him so approaching this one with an open mind.

This signing reminds me of when Keith Alexander signed Mark Bailey...

He is only here until the end of the season. Plenty of time to make his mark. Good luck Darren.

:stupid: good work by Evans and Fry. Strength in depth is always a good thing.

Never heard of him or Hamilton Academical. Is it a school for racing drivers?

Clever, I don't believe you've not heard of the Accies

O'Hara was decent at Dundee and Naismith was always a good player. I would rate both of them way ahead of Darren.
