It's a shame he's gone because I heard that he was only a couple of years short of a testimonial!

Good luck Adil. I tend to agree with trevormans as I don't really think that he was given much chance to shine at Posh.
He wasn't given a chance because he wasn't good enough.

3 manager's...Westley. McCann and Evans didn't pick him.

No other club of note wanted to take him off our hands...even for nothing.

It's not rocket science.

Have I gone nuts here? Or is this the same Adil Nabi who signed, turned out to be useless, then essentially refused to move on so he could sit on the bench and collect his wage?

What you're doing here is akin to Sunderland fans wishing Jack Rodwell all the best when he finally decides to stop draining the club's finances.

Yeah, good luck Adil, thanks for taking a squad place for an extra season and hampering our progress.
Surely the people we should be disappointed with is not the player. He was perhaps initially overvalued by the club, recruited , given a time-limited contract , and who then did not meet our club’s expectations, but rather it was the club, PUFC, who got it wrong on this occasion. That he took his wage was his contractual right. That is the deal when you sign a contract. Posh quite rightly have stuck by the contract. We would perhaps all happily accept our wages , even if we believed we were overpaid. He was just another of the frogs to be kissed. You do not get it right every time, either in football or in life. You need to be prepared to get it wrong sometimes and learn from it. That is why the business model works. That is why DMAC is a successful businessman. If the club did not have the wit to buy him out earlier, then that is the club’s fault , not the player’s. The club will learn from this
I wish him well

It happens. Some buys work out, others don't, but there's nothing to be learned from it as such.

O'Hara may work out, he may not, same with Dembele.

Posh fans wishing Nabi all the best is ridiculous.

Kanu goes to Vale on a season-long loan. Expect him to do well there.

With only 1 RB...1 LB...and 2 CB's we could do with some cover in defence now.

A Craig Alcock type utility defender would be ideal now.

If we have Freestone as cover at right back we could always go for a loan move for Leo to cover as right back. We should be going back in for Santos as cover for the central defenders.

Lol.

Freestone is a left back that's free to go out loan.

You've got more chance of playing at Centre back for us than Santos

Goodness me.... Over time you've had your dislikes (Little, McCann, Maddison spring to mind), but what it is you saw/see in Santos that we all missed?

Hopefully he does and can come back confidence back and with greater opportunity to contribute after a season scoring goals in L2. More chance of being successful than Joe Mk2

9 in...9 out.

Good work from the heirarchy this summer...but it's far from done yet.

I'll have a wager that Kanu never plays for Posh again...

I think that bristle posted this a bit 'tongue in cheek' to be honest!
