Good luck to the lad. I hope he gets himself back on track quickly.

Totally agree, after what happened he was never going to come back here and thankfully he can't come back to haunt us, but unlike chompy, I do have a sneaky suspicion he will score bucket loads in league 2, anyone wgo smashes Vardys Conf record and in less games must be a decent player. Interesting to see, as he was second favourite to be league 1 top goalscorer last year, what price he will be this season?
Wish him well if only because most of us have, or know people with inner demons and they can really destroy lives, but let's move quickly on shall we.

Good luck and goodbye. Big wasted opportunity whatever the reasons. Many people deal with difficult stuff without the luxury of a football career. May seem harsh but opportunities at his disposal fat exceeds the general population with similar or worse issues. Difficult to see what potential we saw based on what he brought to the pitch. I'd take Tom Nichols or Luke James over Gormley mark 2

Hughes gone.
Andrew Hughes has. Hope that helps.

Shame but hey ho.
Best of luck Hughes, would have preferred to have kept him. Good steady player and a nice 'chap' ..

42 goals in the Conference in 16/17 was worth a punt on a free transfer.

Adil Nabi has finally GONE.

Not really a player as such, but I thought I'd stick it up here anyhoo.

It is so easy to speak with hindsight.

It’s been worth a punt because that is part of the business model which has served us so well over so many years

You kiss lots of frogs before you find the prince and we have been blest with lots of princes

As ever the usual suspects cannot resist making negative comments and putting the boot in.

Such words do nothing other than make those same folk look like they never outgrew the mindset of the third form

Why not just wish him well in his career

Agree with what you say trevormans but was your post about Miller or Nabi?

Nabi was never given a chance to show what he could do, a handful of games if that in 2.5 years. Not sure how he can be judged as a failure by the usual suspects when he was never even given a chance to fail.

It's a shame he's gone because I heard that he was only a couple of years short of a testimonial!

Good luck Adil. I tend to agree with trevormans as I don't really think that he was given much chance to shine at Posh.

Have I gone nuts here? Or is this the same Adil Nabi who signed, turned out to be useless, then essentially refused to move on so he could sit on the bench and collect his wage?

What you're doing here is akin to Sunderland fans wishing Jack Rodwell all the best when he finally decides to stop draining the club's finances.

Yeah, good luck Adil, thanks for taking a squad place for an extra season and hampering our progress.
