Forrester to Aberdeen confirmed.

Like LDSL...He may be seen in a better light when given more time on the ball as they often do at a higher level.

Neither had the game to cope with the hustle and bustle of league one football though.
Bit harsh on both that. Both are the only 2 on the list I'd liked to have see stay but suspect neither will progress here. Nothing to do with Evans just think both will benefit moving on. Hope we got good add ons included
Leo wasn't on the list.

It may sound harsh John...but they were both part of a midfield that were overrun most weeks.

Doughty LDSL and Forrester all gone... we'd have never been promoted with them in the side.

I am honestly and genuinely shocked by Leo's move to Wigan.
For the life of me I can not imagine what performance they saw to make them write a cheques for whatever it is.
Potential is subjective and I would be extremely surprised if much up front was paid and would assume there are massive add ons.

I have wondered wtf fry does but this sale regardless of the amount is the high point of his time at LR by far. :clap2:
Seven figure fee paid straight up... Darragh.

Leo. So wanted him to succeed, I was fighting his corner before a lot knew he existed and his performances at youth level made all of us who saw him convinced that 'we had one'. He has not kicked on in any way, I would say he was a better player at 16 overall. Body language is terrible, positional awareness non existent and the odd bit of skill he shows is inevitably ruined by a terrible final ball. LET GO
just as well Barry doesn't listen to you, a cool million you'd have cost Darragh
er was he not let go then? :)

inbloodycredible

almost as incredible as this comment

“Leo has been one of the best young players in the EFL over the past couple of seasons,” recognised Cook.

Awful journalism aside (recognised?) how can anyone, even those who rated him actually believe that?

btw I keep seeing it claimed he is 18.
He is 19 and a half.

I find it a staggering deal. DM still drooling about the lad and of course everyone wishes him well but if he couldn't shine in Div 1 just can't see how he will do so in the championship.
Great move for him though and at this rate Mr Chairman will soon have enough money to buy the ground!

Forrester was still worth 10 Doughty's. Should have kept him.
I'd like him to have stayed but not sure how he's have fitted in. May come back and bite us this one. 100 would be closer
Excellent piece on Chris Forester in 'The Scotsman."

LDSL and Hughes gone to the championship....

Maddison and Marriott still here.

Remarkable.

Edwards could also beat them to it.....

If Barry can get £1m for Leo and £0.5m for Hughes then Edwards should go for a fair bit despite his injury record and 1 year left. M&M should both go for a fortune if that is the case. I always wondered what use Fry was seriously earning his money this summer

Ricky Miller joins Port Vale on two year deal I hope the lad sorts himself out before it is too late in his career.
