Shawn McCoulsky from Brizzle City wouldn't be a huge shock.

Six-footer who fits our profile perfectly.

Mansfield have rejected bids today for Danny Rose and Lee Angol.

Hmmm.....

No way Angol comes back, just no way. Despite being 6'2".

Danny Rose was the first name I mentioned when Uncle Steve got the gig but he's not a target man @ 5'8".

We need to do much better with this final signing.

We do.

Interesting that Godden plays in this game for the second string tonight and Cummings doesn't.

Evans pretty sure that he's got another Striker coming in before the weekend...

I'd be amazed if we don't have a jolly green giant in place before Saturday.

It's the Evans way.

We just need to bite the bullet on this one and go buy Jayden Stockley. Or even revisit Mandron.

Got a bad feeling though. Not hard to imagine DMac on Twitter trying to justify his decision to re-sign Angol. Great lad, different player now, ready for the challenge etc

I always thought that Angol was a good target man, holding the ball up well, lots of presence with the lad and scored nine in just 29 games at Mansfield. It was heartbreaking when his leg broke in pre-season at Boston. We were about 30 yards from it and could hear it go!

What presence was that then?

For a tall lad he was a lightweight.

I wouldn't want him back.

As chompy says, 'new lad now.' We could do worse but I'm sure it won't happen.

Chompy didn't say that at all....

As Darragh may say on Twitter was what Chompy was referring to.

Angol? Hahaha... Could go for stuies hero if we want a big target man. Would be equally as pointless

Bit of jiggery-pokery going on with Darragh over the Danny Rose bid...

Sky claiming we had a 300k bid turned down.

Darragh claiming we bid less than 200k and they're using us to drum up interest.

The search for Striker's goes on ......

Bit of a sorry saga this Danny Rose business.

That said, I'd be surprised if something wasn't thrashed out between the two clubs.
