From my mate Paul the Boston fan -

"Evans will build a team that will play to its strengths. If, and that's a big if, he gets the personnel right, they'll be hard to beat and will play for 90 minutes every week. Sometimes it'll be hard to watch, but every eleven he selects will be to a win a football match.

He's more Sam Allardyce than Gareth Southgate. Everton and West Ham fans didn't like that, but no one ever recalls Bolton fans complaining about his record.

Most importantly, and even Boston fans say this now, the past is the past and that's where it belongs"

Having heard it from the horses mouth so to speak, I'm happy to echo that.
Another convert. Well done Listy!
Wouldn't call myself a convert, but I'm happy to see Evans Posh team play before denouncing us as long ball merchants.

Evans wants 4-6 more.

Darragh says 4 tops...and hopes to have them all in the building before we go to Portugal.

Peterborough United have become the first club to make an official approach for Cheltenham Town striker Mo Eisa.

The League One club had a verbal offer rejected last season, with outgoing chairman Paul Baker confirming it was a long way short of their valuation of the Sudan-born front man.

Baker, who has since stepped down, put a £1.5million price tag on Eisa, who turns 24 on July 12.

This is the dream.

If this happens Darragh might as well just announce the League One title.

...Both these stories old news and we have moved on according to Darragh.

This is Posh though...and anything could happen once we sell Marriott.

I wouldn't be surprised if Eisa was in the team to play Bristol Rovers....

he was a big handful in the pre season game against Posh last season, mind you he was only up against Baldwin. Hopefully we won't be put off by the big price tag

Chances are he goes higher but it would be some signing.

On Twitter some Posh fans suggesting that he isn’t worth the cash but these trialists are worth looking at. Absolutely ludicrous.

Doesn’t seem that much more experienced than Freestone, assume he’s coming as a back up to Daniel and if so couldn’t Freestone perform that role? Just asking the question before the usual suspects leap to Evans defence.
