Thats so unfair on the lad, or could be as surely we have absolutely no idea on what amount he asked for. Clearly too much for DM that's obvious, but it certainly doesnt mean he was being greedy....does it?
did i say "greedy" ?

his agent was clearly asking for more money than the club were prepared to offer...and he's guided by his agent.

good luck to him in finding a better deal...but remember, jack marriott took a wage cut to come to posh.

ambition over greed that...and surely godden would want to do better than stevenage.
And more players should tell their agents to bog off, if of course they have a modicum of intelligence to negotiate themselves

Isn't that what McLean did when he first signed?

Dmac said the other week... We'll lose out on targets due to Agents and Location and both have already happened this summer.

Agents I get.

Our location shouldn't in reality be an issue.

Not really that far from the major cities East, West, North or South.

POSH CHASE STRIKER
Peterborough have had an offer accepted by Colchester for Mikael Mandron.
The French striker scored 10 goals this season having joined Colchester from Wigan a year ago.

Big ol' boy, hardly a free scorer but time will tell.

I will leave it to others to slag a player off with no knowledge of him.

Sounds like an Evans type.... I'd never heard of him but looks like he'll score goals with decent service. I'm sure he's not good enough right?
It appears to be a bit of a non story.

We're being linked with so many players ATM... He's just another name that's been thrown out there.

Isn't that what we said about Omar Bogle?

Yup but nothing to do with Evans if that matters

The following strikers may be worth a look at from the championship. Jamie Philpot, Harry Smith, (both Millwall) and Arnold Garita (Bristol City)
Any other strikers from the championship are well into their thirties. Further information about free agents here in the ET.

Whether these sort of players would be considered by Evans is debatable. He may want to sign a more established player who is still under contract and may cost a fair bit.
