Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN
Peterborough United had a million-pound bid for Cheltenham striker Mo Eisa rejected, the Peterborough Telegraph can reveal. Posh interest in a big striker who scored 25 goals in 50 appearances for the League Two has been well documented, but today (July 11) director of football Barry Fry revealed the size of the club’s unsuccessful bid.

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN
Very frustrating as we're clearly a couple of striker's light.
We may have to wait until the end of the window to get them.
Meanwhile...We need to start giving M & M game time in these friendlies

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN
Feels like the main money this window will be going on the strikers. What we've done so far hasn't been on a shoestring by any means but there's going to be ££££ to spend when M&M leave. Hopefully we have something provisionally in place.
Shame Eisa's got his sights set on the Championship. Kid is something else.
As for M&M, I can't see any upside in playing them. Don't want either to do a knee playing on a hard pitch at somewhere like St Neots. Not worth the risk.

....Not if they're definitely going.
Evans did say that the heirarchy had agreed that were they not sold before the weekend they'd feature at St Neots.
We can't keep them wrapped in cotton wool...If they're still here on August 4th you'd want them in the team and ready to go.

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN
We need to be buying quality this summer. Enough of the cheap option.
Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN
The transfer window closes on Thursday 9th. August this season so we will have to go with what we have at our disposal when the season proper starts. Either that or the market will be in for a few very interesting twists and last minute turns between the 4th and the 9th of August!superposh80 wrote: ↑11 Jul 2018, 17:39....Not if they're definitely going.

...We need to be "going with" more than one recognised striker, should Marriott be sold.
Meanwhile... Bradford confirm we have bid for Charlie Wyke.

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN
At least we have Lloyd who can play up front and Matty Stevens might actually get a look in - he's looked sharp from what I've seen on pre-season.
Charlie Wyke certainly fits the target man requirement. Big lump for plan B.

Stevens will never play for the first team.
He's available for loan for a reason....
