.....In our dreams.

We wouldn't get half of that.
Personally I'd pay more for Edwards than Maddison but hey ho that's just me. If I was in control of the pennies, providing he was on a long term contract I'd hold out for that sort of money

I wouldn't.

Edwards spends too much time on the treatment table to risk good money on... He's only played around 50% of the games since he signed 2 years ago.

I'd sell him over Maddison...All day long

As would pretty much everyone apart from bristleposh I think. He’s as anti Maddison as I am Evans

That's right tar me with the same brush, I'd have kept Santos and Leo ahead of Maddison

Dmac has rubbished suggestions of a £200,000 transfer of Gwion Edwards to Blackburn, thankfully - he's worth a lot more to us, even if he is in the last year of his contract.

NO!!

I would be more upset if he left than JM deffo or MM a bit.

We haven't seen him at his best for any length of time but when on it he's the best we have imo.

Agree but guess we need to start mentally preparing for life without Gwion.

I get the feeling he's not about to sign a new contract with us.

This is the second Gwion sale story to come out in the past few days and it feels like his agent is on the case.

Shame.

to be fair we've been without him for large chunks of the last two seasons anyway, what with his numerous injuries

He'll probably go first. We've only seen the best of him when fit, and when that happens he's superb - agree with Wycliffe here arguably better than the 2 crown jewels for sale

Now that plenty of bigger clubs "appear" to be interested I can't see him signing a new contract.... However Darragh managed it with Boydy and Maddison in the past, so wouldn't rule that out either!

Wasn't it DM's published policy to put up for sell any players entering the last year of contracts to be automatically transfer listed?

Like most I would love to see Gwion stay but as clearly he doesn't even want to entertain new contract talks surely it would be best to see the lad leave. I refuse to believe any players, unsettled by not being allowed to move in this fashion can give their all
