I won't be disappointed if Dmac holds out for his £6mill (or whatever he will accept) and he ends up staying a further half season in League 1
Maybe not but Marriot will.

I dont care how big a team player he is, how wonderful his attitude is, if DM blocks a move to any championship club of note and does so because they dont meet his price tag, or worse are 10/20% off, how enthused, how incentivised and committed does anyone think our talisman will be next season?

He has to go whether it's for 3,4,5, 6M and hopefully for us it will be nearer the latter end of those figures but can honestly see it being a lot less
Top post.

Also...What message would it send to the next young striker on the Posh radar if Marriott were to be denied his move?

He won't be though...The Posh heirarchy know what they're doing here. They'll hold out for as long as they get to as near as their price they can...Whether it be tomorrow or August 3rd.

He'll get his move...and we'll get another striker.

Player's come and go.... That's how football works.

Common sense prevails... at least briefly

Nobody really thinks he'll stay do they? After all this is Darragh and Bazza dressing up the shop window

Looks like Forest are now after Patrick Bamford, with Bristol City now favourites to get our boy.

Reading between the lines and make 2+2=5 I've read somewhere we've accepted a seven figure sum for someone and that someone has been given permission to speak to the club. As Marriott and Edwards were both visible at the training day I'm guessing it might be Bambi

Crikey....

You'll be cracking open a few if the player you love to hate is sold won't ya?

Far from hating him as a person, just his inability to stay on his feet

No sign of Maddison in any of the pre-season training pictures!

Puts the Matty Taylor rumour back on the table.

It's all good. Bristol City have just had a windfall of £10m from the sale of Bobby Reid to Cardiff. I've no idea of Derby's financial state.

Blackburn eyeing up a bid for Edwards....

We may struggle to keep hold of this lad.

If he's ever fit of course....

strange how the two we expected to say goodbye too are still not getting the requisite amounts offered. Hopefully Edwards will be £2m +

.....In our dreams.

We wouldn't get half of that.
