A disappointing day against a very average side....but I thought a draw was about right. We just didn't do enough to deserve it.

As Evans said...We lacked the quality in the final third and Morias Cooper and Hughes all missed decent enough chances to win it.

Thought we defended OK first half...but shaky second half especially Freestone who isn't ready for this yet.

Grant MOM...but what was he doing pushing the referee? He was lucky to stay on for that I thought.

Maddison was poor....A delightful through ball for Morias and an assist...but some of his decision making was as bad as I've seen from him.

The fact that we're sixth shows what a poor league this is.

I always thought this would be a tough game but I'm now thinking it will be a relatively easy win for Posh.
That is assuming that Grant and Morias get a game.
I see that some poshnetters are thinking the same way as me as regards Grant and Morias.
Hopefully the new manager reads this message board and he will take note as well.
Well Evans did take note. But we still didn't win a match we had to win. Maybe it's not the manager's fault. The squad is not good enough.

Poor performance. 2 poor teams. Forrester probably mom bit hard to pick anyone. Maddisons theatrics outdone by Marriott's pathetic whining all game. Both need to take a look at themselves after today really. Positives we crept back into top 6 despite slipping up today
We’d have drawn that game under McCann..................Uncle Stevie working his magic for sure and I assume an apology from Chompy will be forthcoming after he said Grant would never play for us again.......nah I don’t expect so either.

For once we actually agree on soemthing though re Nicholls, we got rid of someone who was average at best and signed the divisions top scorer instead so we should be thanking him not handing out abuse.
Tell you what, you tell me where I said that and I'll apologise.

Too many crosses in open play aiming for Posh's vertically challenged forwards. Never likely to be productive.

So a few people bang on about how this was a "must win " game. Well we DIDN'T win but we moved up into a play off position.

Guess that makes a few people look a little silly.

Most of the high balls were pumped down the middle.

They defended pretty well to be fair....Broadbent had Marriott in his pocket for most of the afternoon

Why? Don't see your point here. I never said it was a must-win game ftr.

So ideally you use your big striker to defend the near post at corners. This happened in Nomark's first game for us.

What you don't do is have Danny Lloyd and Junior defending the near post. Weird that. Almost like the spirit of GM had re-entered the building.

Yes wonderful I feel silly now, with away games coming up at Rotherham, Plymouth, Blackburn, Shrewsbury, and Plymouth I said it was a must win purely from the point of view that our remaining fixtures were not the easiest.

Congrats on your humility.

Does the fact that we didn't win mean our season is now over ???.

Let's be honest... We were pretty poor yesterday, we didn't lose and move back into 6th. It's within our gift to stay there or screw it up. Tough games to come away though....

I travelled back on the Rovers coach yesterday, the young lady in charge who was about 30 and the same in stones was lovely, she had to turn sideways to get through the coach and still managed to hit everyone with her a&@&, well, when she starts singing I shall accept its all over.

The fact that you think a post is about you and have to respond with a disclaimer says plenty about you.
