The football club have issued a short statment.

Apparently he's been sacked? Not sure where this info comes from though.

It was always likely he'd leave so no real surprise - new managers rarely keep the old backroom staff

...Apart from Westley, who kept McCann

As has been said, no surprise. Raynor is Evans's right hand man so no room for Oldfield.

I'd expect Tyler to be next off.

Five reasons
1. He is surplus to our requirements.
2. He is Chompy's hero. If he leaves, Chompy might possibly stop using his photo as his avatar.
3. Steve Evans probably doesn't need a goalkeeping coach.
4. He was a McCann favourite.
5. See 2 above.

I'm sorry to see David Oldfield go - but that is the way of football management.
I'm not sure he was sacked - he may not have wanted to be a number 3 or a number 4 in the set up.
Most experienced managers will have their own tried and tested and trusted team around them, so he was never going to remain a number 2.

Goodness me.

1. How so?
2. That makes you as bad as him, please don't be.
3 How so?
4 And?

I could answer but I'll let you try and answer yourself as I am confused how anyone can come up with such opinions
