Steve Evans Q & A
https://www.theposh.com/news/2018/march ... -part-one/
Haven't had chance to watch this myself but knowing how some of you love to criticise anything Posh I thought I'd post it and let you tell me what is wrong with it before I get chance to se it. The phrase Not good enough will probably appear somewhere.

This post is 'not good enough'.

Can't see much wrong with it. I recommend you watch it.bristleposh wrote: ↑08 Mar 2018, 10:37https://www.theposh.com/news/2018/march ... -part-one/

Re: Steve Evans Q & A
We have a proper football manager on our hands...at last.
I'm liking what I'm hearing from Evans so far...Experienced Successful, he knows how to get out of this division...and how to stay in the next one.
Whether he can turn a bunch of talented individuals into a play off team in 12 games and 2 months remains to be seen.
These are not his players....and he deserves a bit of time and patience if nothing else

Another good and positive interview. Let’s hope the words translate into positive performances by the players.

They all talk the talk...but Evans has walked the walk too.bristleposh wrote: ↑08 Mar 2018, 14:00he certainly talks the talk, I hope for everyone's sake it proves correct on the pitch
Can he do it with us?
Yes....As long as he's left to do it his way and I'd suspect if he isn't, he won't hang around.

Re: Steve Evans Q & A
Definitely. If Evans is successful, I wouldn't care if he bummed Barry Fry on the London Road end. Though if he fails, will people blame him as they did McCann, or put it down to interference from the chairman?bristleposh wrote: ↑08 Mar 2018, 14:00he certainly talks the talk, I hope for everyone's sake it proves correct on the pitch

Re: Steve Evans Q & A
Nothing beats experience, he has nothing to lose atm and everything to gain, with a bit of luck this could be massive for Posh.
Re: Steve Evans Q & A
If McCann was the right man for the Posh manager's job......Lets have guesses as to where his next job will be!.....Gedney Drove End? Farcet Reserves?
Re: Steve Evans Q & A
You'll be pleased to know that he's gone but why the desire to ridicule him further? The fact that he was out of his depth is not his fault but his boss. You can't blame him for trying to be successful so perhaps you should be putting all your effort into Darragh bashing next?

There have been a few comments about unkind and uncalled for comments about McCann since his departure.
Leave him alone and wish him well, I say.
