Clearly Darragh is looking to spend more time and money away from the club, but it's more non football people at the table, Can't see Mr Evans hanging around to long.

Well maybe they won't get to involved with what happens on the pitch and they'll let Evans do his thing, so used to having an owner who gets to involved in with his managers.

DMac will probably be looking to put some of his money into an Irish club or a non league club (Dagenham?) that was mentioned a while back.

That suggests that Dmac now owns 49%, the Canadian Company owns 49% and various fans own the other 2%.
Although the suggestion was that Dmac and the two Canadians will hold an equal one-third voice on the Board of Directors!
On the Board of Directors they may well get equal voice and votes.
But at a meeting of share holders DMac will have the same as the other two put together.
I would be surprised if the minority shareholders actually end up having so much power.

Far from it....

This new deal was probably one of the reasons Evans came to the club....and we could afford him.

Because a manager with a track record as good as his is going to come at a higher price than some of our previous bosses.

I think Steve Evans will be around for at least a few seasons. But I'm still not sure what's happening with the new part owners' money. They have bought half of DMac's shareholding. How much was that worth? I haven't seen a Balance Sheet. What does it say the shares are worth?
The money they paid has presumably gone into DMac's bank account. Not the Posh bank account.
So, unless they are going to put more money in then the club may be no better off.
gazwilwah may be right that DMac will be using his money to spend elsewhere.
Of course he may use it to help buy the ground.

What a week. One manager goes and another one comes in. A Tuesday night win at Fortress ABAX and we hit the magic 50 point mark for the season. Players make the news for clearing snow off the pitch. Then we get new co-owners and finally a postponed game at Shrewsbury. Need the afternoon off to take it all in.

Yes let's hope we get the ball rolling with a good win against Charlton next Saturday with a crowd of over 6,500. We then have Bury, Oxford and Bristol, no reason why we can't beat all of these sides and then we are well placed for the final push to the play off's.

This is good news I'd say. Hopefully it'll change our mentality & also reliance on one individual, which is never healthy. Maybe the new co-owners will keep DMAC in check tooh which wouldn't be a bad thing.
