Some of us are....
Others are still stuck in the cosy club days of Grant.
We now have an experienced..passionate..Aggressive. .and successful manager who's already put his marker down in his first interview.
Judge him on results.

I agree with Beststag, there is little doubt that Evans will bring some solidity in both formation and tactics, but if I was a player am not sure if I would want to be left out of his first team selection as from all accounts he rarely changes the personnel. But surely he will bring discipline and the work rate generally is bound to go up, so Marcus be beware!
Lots if opinions say he is very good manager to play under "IF" he like you but if he doesnt he can be a nightmare!
Understand Boston supporters hating the man and despite the eloquence of our Mansfield friend, after reading their forum can equally understand why so many are slaughtering him.
Like DM their Chairman has done more than just support him, it appears he and his wife have almost bankrolled all his signings and whilst we may hopefully be the beneficiary of his managerial noise, to leave them at this stage of the season, more so as they are one win off automatic promotion would have been a huge kick in the balls and suggests, whilst he may bring many fortes to the job, integrity and loyalty are unlikely to be among them.
Saying all that.if he could resurrect our play of dreams as any typical footie fan would I will quickly forget all that

“I’m very lucky in more than one way. This is a job I have always wanted. It’s a club close to my heart in a city I’ve lived for 30 years. It’s the place my kids were born and raised.
“I was at Selhurst Park in 2013 when Posh were relegated from the Championship and I had tears streaming down my face at full-time, like many other fans.
He's one of our own, he's one of our owwwwwwwwwwwwwn

1-2 Blackburn, 7-1 Poshies, 7-2 Draw. 1-2? Like finding it on the floor!

If he's ever going to be loyal to any club bill, it'll be us.
But it he isn't so be it. I only care about what he does while he's with us, and DMac will never let things spiral out of control either way.

Actually, it was a magistrate who decided Evans was a wrong un. Never let a good bit of outrage get in the way of the truth, eh?

Worth quoting again.... is that what we need?BestStag wrote: ↑28 Feb 2018, 16:51Hi all, Stags fan here.
What Evans will bring you is attacking, free flowing football, a 100% determination to improve your sides fortunes, an us against them mentality and probably success. When he took over at Mansfield we were a mess. Poor players, unfit players, no direction and a hoof ball style of play. Very quickly he turned those same players into a half decent outfit that unbelievably nearly made the play offs.

Absolutely amazing. Official announcement today and this forum (this thread and others) is full of so much dislike, criticism and what else that I'm amazed. New manager on board with an amazing track record at our level and an outside chance of getting us back in the Championship and they'd rather have kept Grant. Despite hearts wanting to keep him the head said no...
What a welcome.... At least there are some sensible people on here after all prepared to give him a chance before casting judgement

Ruthless winner rather than the loser nice guy? You sound like Lance Armstrong, you know. Win at all costs and all that.White G wrote: ↑28 Feb 2018, 22:25Not to mention an owner who's been up in the dock for fleecing many people for a lot of money. Some of the comments seem very selective & hypocritical. Would you rather be the loser nice guy who comes last, or would you rather be the guy who takes the bull by the horns? Evans hasn't killed anyone and I'd rather a ruthless winner than a loser whoyour gran would think is charming.

Oh look at me I'm a better fan that you are because I predicted the next Posh manager, If I put all the wonderful things I have ever done in my life on this forum you would call be boring and self publicising. You and Chompy make so many predictions and statements, obviously you are going to get some right, is there any need to gloat about it when you do. Just accept it and let the real suppoorters support the boys in blue in their own way.superposh80 wrote: ↑01 Mar 2018, 00:11
Are you really 'amazed' at some of them John?
They are happy in their comfort zone of Darren and Grant and so on...They wouldn't know a good manager if he smacked them in the face.
Chompy and myself were calling out Evans first thing Monday morning whilst they were still crying into their cornflakes over McCann....
They'll never move on...or have a good word to say about Evans.
Blinkered.

I'd say it was an extremely good and accurate try.
