David Oldfield...Michael Appleton...

Are the two favourites in VCBet's opening book. These prices will change dramatically in the next 24 hours, though, and are no real guide.

Still, who do we fancy?

I'd be happy with Gary Bowyer. Not Russell Slade or Lee Clark please, while the inclusion of Shaun Derry is hopefully a joke.

Is Darragh off to find us a new oil rich Sheik from Dubai?

Boarding @emirates to Dubai for much needed break with @NMacAnthony as it’s been stressful couple months. Regardless of results there is some exciting stuff happening in coming days/weeks/months @theposhofficial fans which will make us much better football club for years to come!

Could be something to do with the purchase of the ground in which case he might need some assistance from your "oil rich Sheik from Dubai". :)

Steve Evans for me....all day long.

We might have to wait until the summer for him though.

Dean Keates could be a bet.....

Warburton would be a popular choice for sure.

It's a good gig for someone...A chance to work with a talented squad and money to spend.

Can he work with Darragh and Fry though?

Graham Potter not in the betting, would he be beyond our reach. Sol Cambell will obviously have to be interviewed or we'll never hear the end of it. Has he any managerial experience, certainly no more than McCann.

Does Steven Taylor have the necessary qualifications to manage.

Personally..I'd be happy for Oldfield to see us through the season.

He's only been put in charge for one game though...

I reckon Darragh has someone lined up....and he'll be in place for the weekend

Anyone but Steve Evans please. Not the most popular amongst people who have played under him so I have read and just because he lives locally or supports the club des not make a good match - I give you Ricky Miller!

Uwe Rosler? I think he would do some good things with the current squad.

Oldfield one game...

DMac just gone to Dubai for a holiday...

Tweet sounded like something was already in place...

Little doubt in my mind that the new man has already been decided. Steve Evans 4-1 from 12-1 with VCBet (bizzarrely he's not quoted by Skybet).

Looks like the inevitable Evans era is about to get underway. Bring it on imo! High tempo football under a more showbiz manager. Love the idea of what he might be able to get out of this bunch of players. What's not to like?

Evans is the only man that can work successfully with Darragh and Fry imo.

This is his time.....

Not so much work with DMac and Fry, but perhaps stand up to DMac and Fry?
