Posh v AFC Wimbledon

Post by tonyp » 19 Feb 2018, 00:54

Especially for all those people who think there is no such thing as a "must win" game.
This is a "must win" game.

I don't fancy our chances here much either.

We all know what Wimbledon are about....They're everything we're not. It's going to be a battle. One team knows how to battle, the other doesn't.

You know the drill by now....Take the lead, chuck it away on half time or full time.

It's a must win game for McCann.
It's a must win game for me.
It's a must win game for most fans except Chompy.
It's a "Don't care if we lose. It'll confirm my statement that we have zero hope of getting into the top 6" game for Chompy. Hope this helps.

You are right old man.

Fcat is.
If we play like we can and keep it up for 90+ minutes we will beat the dons and indeed most sides in the division.
Sadly all too often we have not done so.

In summary, gawd only knows what'll happen

Still must win though

Anyway, the only way we win this is if the Wombles give up.

We all know, deep down, that the squad have given up on any chance of progress under GM.

Jusssssss killing time...

Wimbledon will relish this...A tough physical battle against a team that doesn't do tough physical battles.

It's going to be a difficult afternoon for us, whatever the outcome.

No idea on what team..formation or tactics we can expect here....and I very much doubt the players have either.

No doubt we'll see good contributers like Morias and Lloyd bench warming....Whilst a 19 year old who offers nothing to the side gets game time.

One thing about Grant is he's honest ....And he'll probably be owning up to more mistakes come 5pm.....

Do we?

I'd stick to giving an opinion not what you think we think mate.

Must win game

I don't expect we will

I expect we have less chance on top 6 than winning this game

I HOPE the opposite but don't have the specs!

All my own opinions and I'm still a Posh fan despite all that

"Many Posh fans believe managerial errors are holding a talented squad back" ...Swann in the PT today.

I agree with that statement.

"Every decision is scrutinised"

Absolutely...and it's about to get tougher.
