Season tickets

Post by john316z » 14 Feb 2018, 21:29

So asking first in case anyone else is wondering...

Are the club selling the 10-game season tickets next season, or is too early? I can't do a full season and without the 10-game one I'm unlikely to go much if at all

I really hope they do, as I am a 10 ticket season ticket holder, it works for me, and it must be working for the club, I guess it would be too early,

however I am sure the club will appraise how well it has gone this year

Not according to this copied from the club's website:

Season tickets will go on sale at 10am on Monday 19th February at www.theposhtickets.com, via the Ticketmaster hotline 0844 847 1934 (calls cost 7ppm plus your network access fee) and in person at the ABAX Stadium Box Office. Current season ticket seats will be reserved until 5pm on Friday 30th March.

You can also spread the cost of your season ticket over four or 10 months with our partner Zebra Finance - apply online at www.theposhtickets.com

We are currently not looking to introduce a 10-game season ticket.

Thanks BanburyPosh. Hadn't seen that

I'm unlikely to go very often next season then. Probably a few cheaper cup games and one game it will be then. Strange choice by the club but pretty sure the 10 game season ticket appealed to a lot of fans who can't get to every home game. Poor decision in my book. Not that it matters to the club!

agreed, poor decision by the club, but it does sat currently, probably mean I will go to more away games, and less home games, next season

GPWM stuie. Unfortunately that will mean that none of your hard earned cash will go to Posh and the away teams will profit from the club's rather silly decisions.

Hopefully they'll reintroduce. I'm expecting season tickets to sell poorly other than the usual hardcore or retired fanbase

You may well be right john. How can we manage to see that but the club steadfastly just sticks it's head in the sand and ignores common good sense?

yep, on Tuesday we travelled a 6 hour round trip to watch the mighty Posh to play Scunthorpe, probably because we had games available on our 10 ticket season ticket

They’re probably waiting to see what league we’ll be in before introducing a 10 game ST as if we’re in the Championship they probably wouldn’t want seats being idle and unsellable 13 times out of 23 which is fair enough.

I have a 10 game ST this year but have only used it 5 times so far.

Do we know how many 10 gamers they sold this year? Could be it wasn’t many so not worth repeating.

Quite probably correct. Maybe Wycliffe could enlighten us further?

Given how much crowds have tailed off this season you'd think they'd want to try and sell as many as possible but firmly believe they'll introduce once they see how many fill season tickets are sold .... Or unsold.

Again agree completely, I do not think it would be in the clubs interest to sell these at early bird rates, but expect them to market these in the close season
I get that
