Posh v Scunny

Post by Chompy » 10 Feb 2018, 21:02

Scunny are having a wobble, and we all know what the best cure for that is.

Yep, a midweek game under the floodlights at Fortress ABAX, in front of 4,000 hardy souls, 90% of whom will groan their way through proceedings. Might be best to extend Leo's rest here...

It'll be a tough game but we have to focus on ourselves and the lads are in good form.

We have another game against woefully out of form opponents at the weekend, so this should be a good week right? One where we get our play-offs bid back on track?

It really is all 'ifs' and 'buts' isn't it? The only way us supporters can help to influence the team is to fully get behind them all and hope that we can be the team that has the best run in towards the end of the season. For all those who consistently condemn the team and insist that we are not good enough to get to the playoffs I just hope that we can prove them all wrong. I'm sure that you are with me on this? :comeon:

A tough game for us....Scunthorpe will certainly be working on our latest mental issues of throwing games away at the death....As we did at their gaff in October.

What do we need....3 goals cushion going into the last 15?

I'd be concerned here about Duane Holmes attacking us down our left. He was very impressive in the same fixture last season and I'm sure it won't have been missed we have an inexperienced wing-back on that side currently.

I've been critical of the team and manager bit want the same as you. A winning successful team.... Happy to eat a large portion of humble pie when we're celebrating promotion. Just can't see it myself

I'm definitely with you even though I can't get behind them the way you can.
It's "we supporters" by the way.

I've said all season we aren't good enough to make the play offs...There's absolutely no sign that we are consistent enough to go on a winning run either.

I'd be happy...and surprised...to be proved wrong on both counts though
