I have seen it mentioned a lot in the Jan jape section but most players who actually sign get a new thread to themselves so here goes. Welcome to the club look forward to seeing you help us into the top six

He certainly does deserve his own thread....

As Chompy said. ...He's the ideal fit for us and is certainly up to this level.

Straight in the team for me on Saturday

I hope, and I am fairly sure too, that he won't end up as poor as our previously £1m rated (and paid for) towering striker, Tyrone Barnett. (£1,100,000 from Crawley Town, 8th May 2012)

Whatever happens this season, there can be no complaints from anyone about what occurred in either window.

It'll be entirely down to the players, with no fault attached to DMac and, to a lesser degree, GM.

We could have done with offloading 2 or 3 more ...other than that an excellent window for us.

Consistency and keeping our best players fit is key ....Darragh will be expecting a top six finish now, no doubts.

Let's be honest, you hadn't heard of him before midnight last night.

Yet you still feel you're the guy to contextualise everything for us. Amazing scenes really.

Well, the chairman is already on record to this effect, quoted in the PET:
'This is a well-funded squad that needs to finish in the top six, it should finish in the top six, and it has to finish in the top six.... eigth or ninth isn't a good enough finish for us.'

Sorry Chompy but it’s very much down to GM, he’s the manager and the buck stops with him. Look at the way Doughty has gone backwards since he joined us despite playing in the managers position in Centre Mid. Given the backing that DMac has given him in numerous transfer windows (no stars sold during GMs reign), if we don’t make the play offs then I think he’s gone. Not that I’m saying that I’d sack him if we don’t.

Anyway, back on thread I thought Bogle was a good option before he went to Wigan but didn’t actually realise he’d left them to join Wigan tbh.
