The best outcome IMO would be Cooper in for Lopes/Doughty,Ward in for LLoyd and keep Maddison. Also, looks like we are getting a new right back aswell. If all this happens,we will have strength in every position.Let's hope it all pans out.
Exciting times!
we are not getting a new right back....mccann has changed his mind on that one.

what we need now is another left back and striker back up.

plus unloading 2 or 3
Thanks for that.Hopefully Shephard will keep up his current form,he was superb at Villa.

Exactly the fix most of us would like to see but I reckon that we won't be doing any more business this window unless the 'unloading of 2 or 3' becomes a reality. I now see Lloyd almost as a bench warmer and that won't suit him. He wanted to get away a while back, but managed to get back in the team, have a couple of good games and then reverted to type. A shame really.

Don't totally agree with you re Lloyd...

I think he did OK for a while but for me it's his fitness levels that let him down as much as his lack of ability compared to a few others..

He's blowing out of his arse every game after half an hour.

Looked what i hoped for yesterday.
Very well balanced and comfortable on the ball with a decent turn of pace and an eye for a pass either given or received.
Crossing a bit erratic but we are used to that.

If he can take a decent corner he should be used as our present corner taker averages one decent delivery in 10 imo.

Ditto free kicks nearer than 30 yards out.

That is not a cheap jibe more a case of us having an alternative at last and would save MM having to traipse from one side of the pitch to the other.

Coopers goal was just what we needed. A 'running on' midfielder has been missed for years.
