Only played a few times for Posh in 64/65 sad to say passed away a couple of days ago aged 86 RIP

RIP Nigel. I can't remember much about him but I am sure that Brian will have some anecdotal stories about him that he can recall.

A big man, a very big man. Lots of antics when no danger on the pitch, very likeable and a very good Goalkeeper. Played just under 20 games for us but made a big impression/ R.I.P. big man.

I spoke to Peter Lane about him earlier today.
He said it was fitting he passed away as we were playing Villa as that is where he made his name playing over 250 games for them.

I don’t remember him as huge though he was not skinny

However whatever size he was he would have been trumped by tommy Lawrence whose clogs were also popped this week
