How weird is that? I posted about Nipper in the 'Supporting Posh' thread who began following Posh after she witnessed Dave Farrell's hat trick against Barnett in 2000. I posted that at 8.22 this morning and it wasn't until just two hours ago that Posh broke the story of him leaving the club! I even posted a video link to his splendid hat trick! (As long as Nipper doesn't leave we will be ok!)

I am not convinced the regular re-employment of EX players and staff is the right one. Maybe we need some fresh minds in these jobs.

Yep...

It's become too much of an old boys club.

Surely normal businesses promote from within on a regular basis. I don't see why football needs to be any different as long as the right candidates with the relevant skill sets are chosen.

He clearly wasn't the right candidate with the relevant skills.

You only have to look at the state of our youth team.

Not seen the youth team so can't comment on whether they are any good or not. Are we saying that any old jobsworth off the street could come in and do a better job? I don't think so.

they're rubbish...and we're clearly not bringing the youngsters through as darragh would like.

'any old jobsworth'...of course not.

we just need a better coach.
