We'll probably be missing him for the rest of the season.
Another challenge for Barry in the January window.

Re: Gwion
I have a feeling the club have known about this for some time and waited for a bad news day to deflect some of the angst away from the playing performance. Sad of course but the timing sucks
Re: Gwion
Totally agree with all this. He really is in danger of becoming called our very own 'sick note.' Very sad, as he is a wonderful player when he is on it.

Re: Gwion
Wrong. His enforced absence was announced BEFORE the game and the awful result!superposh80 wrote: ↑31 Dec 2017, 13:22Spot on Bristolbristleposh wrote: ↑31 Dec 2017, 10:08I have a feeling the club have known about this for some time and waited for a bad news day to deflect some of the angst away from the playing performance. Re: Gwion
It is a huge blow regardless, and logically it suggests Lloyd might be given an extended run in the team as a consequence.
However with the way he's been treated, dropped, rested, reinstated et Al, I always feel he's but one indifferent performance from being put on the bench again.
With GM's penchant for playing Leo regardless of position, more so if a new CF comes in, who do we think le Boss will play out wide, Lloyd or Leo?

Re: Gwion
Tbf Leo has been benched for the last few games. Lloyd should be picked first. He's probably still ahead of Leo even if we sign a new striker. Leo had only played as a sub and filled in when neededbettingbill wrote: ↑31 Dec 2017, 14:07It is a huge blow regardless, and logically it suggests Lloyd might be given an extended run in the team as a consequence.

McCann broke the news to the radio cambs reporter after the game.

If you're going to correct someone so vehemently and turn out to be wrong, you'd always expect an apology to be forthcoming? Especially if it's an old drinking partner.
1-2 Blackburn, 7-1 Poshies, 7-2 Draw. 1-2? Like finding it on the floor!
