Who called it fake news?

Might be best not to try and take any credit for something lifted from another forum though.

Not entirely sure what Bristle has done wrong. Just repeated a rumour from another forum is all.

According to londonroad.net Bristle was right all along.
McCann just confirmed that he will be staying. Just finalising the paperwork.

There are a few clauses in there, 1 being that Reading can sell him if they get an offer... so will no doubt be sold 1 minute before the window closes!

surely we'll get first refusal if they get an offer to outbid it

I suppose it depends on how much money we have to throw around.
Presumably it is cheaper to pay his wages than to buy him and still pay his wages.

And we do have other goalies including chompy's favourite, Tyler.

getreading has now confirmed it as well.
Jonathan Bond has agreed to extend his loan deal at Peterborough United until the end of the current season.

The goalkeeper had been due to return to Reading FC in January, but the two sides have reached an agreement that will keep him in League One until the summer.

The 24-year-old has been with the Cambridgeshire team since July 2017, during which time he has been Posh’s number one goalkeeper.

Bond, who signed for Reading from Watford in 2015, has conceded 32 goals in 22 games this season, earning four clean sheets.

His impressive form has earned him plenty of admirers at London Road, and manager Grant McCann is likely to want to keep the player on a permanent deal.

Bond’s three year Reading contract is due to expire at the end of this season - meaning he would be available on a free - but it has been reported that Peterborough could face competition to sign him.
