Shepherd isn't fit.

Neither is Anderson or Morias.
Perhaps he should have brought on Freestone then

So why have them on the bench in the first place

Absolutely and Forester has reverted to what he was a while back. Shame as he was beginning to show signs of getting back his best form.

There's no one else.

There's no one on the bench that can come on and change...or even influence...a game.

It's weak.

Seemed odd when you have an injured fullback, not to replace him with a fullback.mwhat does Shepperd have to do.
Nonsense.

Why would we need four at the back when they've just had Sow sent off? Even if Penny wasn't injured, he'd have been culled anyway so we could go three at the back. Pretty sure we didn't need a back four just to look after Aneke, as awesome as he is (predicted here earlier in the week btw).

We are basically one dimensional. We're not able to play through teams, or round the back of teams. That wasn't just the case today, that's been the case all season, Gillingham being a classic case in point.

Fergie will be watching the tape of this game with a huge smile on his face. All they have to do is score first and then keep everyone behind the ball. 1-0 final score.

We are not built for possession/picking a way through defensive units. We're built to counter attack. All speed, all coming inside, no target man, no Aneke/Nick Powell/Jon Nolan/Jack Payne type.

As was mentioned on Radio Cambs, we'd have probably had a better chance against 11 rather than nine. Although we started half asleep and would almost certainly have lost in that case too.

It felt like a game too many for Lloydy, whose first touch was particularly poor today, while everything Marriott received seemed to be banged at him at 100mph. Marcus was trying to be a one-man show, while Junior was predictably off the pace and a few weeks off the player we saw in late summer.

As for Leo Da Silva Lopes-About and the non-entity in the 21 shirt, the less said the better.

It's as well the window is about to open. We need an attacking midfielder and a big striker. ASAP.

Maybe McCann thought that Morias would score a couple of goals. Shepherd wouldn't.

We Got What We Deserved.
And he's disappointed.
We have to win against Doncaster.
