Nevertheless we should beat Bury tomorrow. 3 more points, with 2 away tests to come.

Personally speaking I disagree, but some people on here love statistics and his win percentage is certainly better than anyone else, but I also think he lost his way during his second spell and was no better than many others who had preceeded him or those that have followed. In monetary terms he had far more at his disposal that anyone before or since, so in terms of success on a tighter budget I'd say the accolade of best must go to Chris Turner.

Chris Turner by a mile for me.

Fergie was good for us, but we were prone to horrenous, long slumps during his second spell.

Back to today, hopefully Lloydy gets a start. Let him know he's wanted and try to stop him thinking about pastures new next month.

Bond; Shephard Taff Taylor Hughes; Doughty Grant Lloyd Forrester: Maddison Marriott.
9-2 Posh, 5-2 Draw, 4-7 Leicester

Chris Turner, great manager, player and club legend as the club was in his soul, but the football we played under Fergie was the best I have ever seen at this club.

Discounting Jimmy Hagan, Noel Cantwell and Chris Turner of course! .... plus Ferguson won't ever return.

Plus Fergie is ripping up L1 with a nailed on promotion push elsewhere
