Sure it's all in hand but it's bound to go on the backburner in the days leading up to the January window innit?

My guess would be that Taylor, Bond, Maddison and Marriott account for a large % of our wage bill. Half wouldn't be a surprise.

When you consider we were within a couple of % of our ceiling already and have another bod imminent, it can only make sense that Bondy is either going back or coming here on a permanent and taking a hefty pay cut.

When it comes down to it players can say what they like but we all know what happens. Luke McGee, Callum Elder etc etc.

Bondy would be a loss but we have a competent replacement and whatever it takes to keep this attacking unit in tact is fine by me.

A bit unfair on Taylor that as he's been outstanding and hasn't missed a minute all season.
According to Fry...A new signing is as good as done and dusted so your first theory makes little sense either.
I am a huge fan of Steven Taylor and I am also completely aware that he hasn't missed a minute of league action all season. My comment is showing respect as to how well he has coped so far. Most fans thought he would do well to manage 20-30 games all season. Between 2003 and 2016 he managed just 215 appearances, averaging out at about 16 or 17 appearances per season. His best season was 2007-2008 with 31 games but in the three seasons 2013-2016 he only manages 30 games in total, 10 in each of those seasons. Already this season he has played 24 games! Brilliant Taylor. My MOTM again against Bradford.
A new signing maybe almost be done and dusted and maybe, hopefully, Barry has already sorted out enough 'monetary wriggle room' to enable that to happen. We will never know the complete truth about transfers, in or out, and at the moment we must all rely on rumours from fans and the media.

Absolutely Brian. I am a bit split on this, as to whether we would be best to cash in the present top players and go for purchase or to hang on longer, hopefully get into the Championship where money would be far more available. You? Ground or promotion?

Chicken and egg situation. What I do know is we will never really be in total control of our own destiny until the Ground is wholly owned by the football Club. If we are not careful interest rates will be rising rapidly whereas we have been and continue at present to do so, enjoy low rates.
Negotiations are progressing slow, but sure, at this present time.

I wonder how much the council actually want for the ground and whether they will subsidise a deal but promotion to the championship has to be paramount.

I've got 100% faith in the DMac/GM combo when it comes to judging players.
Doesn't Barry Fry fit in here anywhere?

Trying to work out who the player with ‘good League One experience and form’ might be.

I can't believe this will be the attacking midfielder; more likely the right-back?

Adelakun, Jack Payne, Jon Nolan, Graham Carey, Chuks Aneke are all out of our price bracket I'd have thought. Would love any of those though.

Could Oztumer be on the way back?

This.

Ongoing discussions between DMac and PCC.

Hopefully they will accept they've made well enough dosh with all those monstrosity builds around the ground and the extortionate and one sided rent
