Perhaps he doesn't see .net, and gets his stories from Twitter and Facebook

A right back....Attacking/Creative midfielder...A target man...Keep all our best players, including Bond.

That should be the remit for January imo....Or we can kiss goodbye to anything other than mid table.

Totally agree. The flies in the ointment are that:
a) We (DMac) can't afford those targets
b) The FL Fairplay rules won't allow it
c) The chances of Barry being able to offload enough players to enable us to comply with b) are remote.

If we think that is hard, just think how hard it would be to run other clubs. I know that the money restrictions are hard to comply with (and understand for that matter) but in the long run these restrictions will be for the good of football in these leagues. Unfortunately it all points to 'Big Brother' (Premier and Championship) saying 'Know your place little 'uns!"

So three players plus an extension for Bond?

As DM has said on numerous occasions we are all but spent budget wise and have to offload to afford just two if those above requirements.
If that is the case and.assuming Bond, Taylor, Marriot and MM take a huge slice if our squad budget how many squad players do you feel we would need to offload to allow us to sign what on paper we need.
More problematic to that end could be the fact that DM requires, quite understandably I suppose, a fee for most if them which could stymie the clear out required?

One deal is as good as done and dusted and we'll be bringing in another striker if Miller goes...

That's what Fry told the PT last week.

A week is a long time in a Posh transfer window. How many nailed on transfers have we had that seem to just slip away?

Thought he was on a season long loan.

Just checked. He is

On 31 January 2017 Grant joined Forest's city rivals Notts County on loan for the remainder of the season, having featured for the Reds in an Under-23 match against the Notts' counterparts earlier that day. After completing the signing, Magpies manager Kevin Nolan described Grant as a player with "brilliant technical ability (who) will add creativity and flair

Quite possible he gets recalled and then sold in the window, as looks like being the case with Kieffer Moore.
