if we could get tomlin back, plus keep ricky miller and then see if Joey barton was available, and then put in a bid for a proven international striker like ched evans and bring back darren ferguson to replace mccann then we might be able to get a season ticket, at the crown court

Add to that the Hanson brothers from the film Snap Shot and we would be unstoppable.

Saw this morning Huddersfield have recalled Jack Payne from Oxford, even though he was scheduled to be there for the season.

Hmmm, wonder if this is ahead of a sale...

Apparently yes, but it's Blackburn by the look of it.

Top two places all but sewn up now.

Jack Byrne...another we were reported to be after has signed for Oldham from Wigan.

Makes sense I suppose....He wouldn't have had to move house.

Always amazes me, that most football transfers are very local

Moore..Cullen..Byrne...All missed out on.

I get the feeling we're struggling a bit in this window.

I'm afraid that it is almost the nature of the beast. Ask any fan from most clubs at our level and I am sure that a majority of them would say the same.
When Washington was transferred to QPR we went out and bought about half a dozen players, none of which really helped us. Financial restraints have also changed since then, making progress even more difficult. Maybe Grant, Barry and DMac are being a lot more careful this time. Also it is only just halfway through the window.

I'd say every window since Meddles got the boot has been a success. Good luck Barnet!

We should never forget that season. Ten left-backs including Maddison, Simon Gillett on loan.

It's funny reading his occasional columns in the FLP, where he takes credit for various stuff during his time at Posh. Guy was an utter farce.

Not one of Darragh's finest moments appointing Westley....As we all said at the time.

Well...Most of us.

Westley was doing fine until we sold our best striker.

Seriously though,i remember going to Scunthorpe and we thrashed them 4-0,Westley had lots of banter with the fans,
Posh were looking good for a playoff spot. Then Washington,a striker it took us 2 years to nurture, was off to QPR and the season fell apart.

WESTLEY was a 'nut case.'
