Another "dead cert" that got away. i wonder if it has set our stall out for this window. Moore to go the same way as Cullen maybe? Let's not forget we are not the draw our Chairman or some of supporters think we are....
It appears that "Clever Baz" has hung his chairman out to dry over Kieffer Moore.

Starting to lose a bit of heart here.

Cullen deal off. McCann seems to think we're strong in midfield.

Kieffer deal looking less likely. We've got other options says GM. Macclesfield's no.9 maybe?

Or Port Vale's?

Stuie, good idea?

I thought the Kieffer deal was looking dead in the water when TFO mentioned it to the press

Scott Wilson, even less experience than Moore . If you believe Soccerbase he scored 25 in 4 games for WSM. I think an error.

Considering we were looking to do our business early, we seem to be getting left behind by our 'promotion rivals'.

Adam Armstrong to Blackburn.
Cameron McGeehan to Scunny.
Pompey close to bringing in a third in Craig Davies.

While we're just sat there fretting that Kieffer might cost too much.

Not sure that's fair Stuie, we did good business last January and again in the summer.

Just a shame Kieffer won't be gracing Fortress ABAX :(

We always talk a good window and there's a reason we publicise our targets that fall through though isn't there ?

Probably, but yesterday's happenings were a first to the best of my knowledge.

As in, making it public that Ipswich had accepted our offer.

If it was ever in the pan, maybe just give the impression whilst all along looking at another non-leaguer

However Darragh tries to dress this up...it hasn't been a good few days in the transfer market.

We went into the window with Moore and Cullen as our top two targets...and we've missed out on both.

They will be added to a long list of failed targets and whoever we sign now will be a clear second best...If that

My favourite 'missed target' has to be Sam Baldock...We spent weeks upping our bid until the franchise finally buckled......Thinking we had our Man, Baldock took one look at our place and couldn't get back to Milton Keynes quick enough.

You couldn't make it up...
