Fry....Deal agreed for a right back.
He will have to be outstanding to usurp Shep on current form.

Good move. We don't need one. Penny fine as back-up for now. Crewe move off?

McCann happy with the two we have according to Darragh...So I doubt Penny will be going out.

He didn't sound as sweet on another striker either....but who knows with us.

My gut feeling is that will be it for now. Miller will go though. Then maybe a striker in on deadline day? We all know DMac loves deadline day.

Another striker in i reckon.

Take away Marriott and we're left with one forward who's not match fit yet and a 17 year old.

Would be foolish to try and get through the rest of the season with that scenario.

Am I the only one who is a little baffled by the two recent signings we have just made in Ward and Cooper.
We already seem to have a surplus of wide players with Maddison and Lloyd and if you also count the injured Edwards and Inman who is currently out on loan, we now we have two more to the collection.
Why are we signing more wide men when we don't even have a big centre forward who could benefit from these type of players.
All season the missing links in this squad have been a good target man and a box to box midfielder with vision and passing ability. Instead we now have half a team full of wingers.
Baffled or what!

Looks like Maddison's replacement to me.

Let hope he not a replacement fingers crossed
Certainly looks as though there is something going on regarding Maddison.
Joe Ward and now George Cooper. How many wingers do we need?
Neither of them seem to be in the same class as Marcus.

We're being linked with Matt Godden (source Alan Nixon).

According to the ever reliable Sun newspaper. Posh will go in for Godden only if they sell Marriot in the transfer window.

Valued at £1.5 m by Stevenage. Sell Maddison and take a risk on a player plying his trade a division below and with no Maddison to supply him with goals. I don't reckon that DMac will go for that.

Yes, yes, it's The Sun, but still worth a read. Think we'd probably accept that price.
