Woking replay

Post by bristleposh » 09 Dec 2017, 20:59

Presumably Baldwin misses this, any truth what I was reading about Grant suffering a concussion and missing this game. If true I think we can forget a trip to Birmingham. I assume Chettle is still injured, what has happened to Borg, surely he can't be as bad as Leo and YaYa.

Got to be Bond, Penny, Taylor, Taffy, Hughes, Grant, Forrester, Edwards, Maddison, Miller, Marriott.

Lloyd way more likely to start than Gormley imo.

Not sure Forrester and Grant will ever be able to play together.

That team would beat Woking 4-2. In fact any Posh eleven should.

2-5 Poshies, 9-2 Draw, 8-1 Woking.

Think these prices are way off the mark. I'll be backing Woking.

I won't be backing Woking, you traitor lol, but at 5/2 on most certainly won't be lumping my savings on a home win either!

I hope they covered the pitch last night after many early snow warnings!

with betfair Posh are 1/3, 1/10 without the draw. I think 11/2 Woking without the draw is a good shout

What do you mean "without the draw"?
Skybet are
Posh 2/5
Draw 19/5
Woking 13/2

I wouldn't be backing Woking.

8/1 for a team that should have won the original tie is a decent enough price.

I'm tempted.

Baldwin being out will be a plus for Posh but we still have the same, unimaginative. blunder prone, rookie manager. It's 50/50......WELL! Has he EVER prepared his players for matches against perceived weaker teams? No he hasn't!

Worth remembering that Woking were the better team in the first tie, and clearly so on statistics. And that we've just been torn to shreds by Blackburn, despite what the scoreline and the blue-tinted specs brigade might say.

8-1 is a crazy price given our home record, our Tuesday record and our record against perceived lesser opponents.

Also, anyone remember Kidderminster?

Real sense of deja vu here. They came to town, we were expected to win but their star man, Joe Lolley, who was on our radar, stood out.

Joe Ward this time. No surprise if we tried to pick him up too.
