Tbf this is the squad McCann assembled, playing the formation he put in place over the summer, so he has nobody to blame but himself.

Very good chance I'll be back here in a few hours moaning about it again.
Get tanked up on a few and it'll seem a lot less painful

Shows what I know Da Silva and Baldwin both start

Ricky Miller on the bench.
I'm surprised that nobody seems to have commented on this.
Will he come on and score a couple of goals?

Everyone has an opinion and rightly so. I suggest at this time we all very carefully listen to the post match opinions given immediately after the Blackpool game by Grant Mc.Cann himself. Without fear or favour he very clearly stated his disappointment at the players at PUFC and what standard they are at present playing, especially so at London Road. 'Must do better' would be an understatement.
All very true and it is always down to the players, but how much of them playing below standard is the inability to be able to adapt to the pick-a-mix tactics that change throughout a game? I don;t think you can point the blame at the players for that if they don't have the ability to play in multiple positions and formats. Shephard is an obvious example of someone who can play at RB but not RWB - Leo another good example.

If McCann is the man manger dream he's publicised as then he should be able to get the best out of the players he has. I'm less convinced by the day that he can, and that is been a criticism during his period of assistant manager as well (even if not by him directly)
well lets see how we get on tonight, surely we are due some good football and 3 points
Not so far!

I haven't been too impressed with the first half. Lloyd not much use so far. Maybe Miller will get a go.
4-2?
I doubt whether we'll get 4! They might get 2 though.
