Its ok to beat the likes of national league ten men Tranmere and div 2 Cambxxxx Utd, but the league is our priority and we are slipping down fast now. Once again a very under par performance from some of our players. Worrying that we havn't got enough strength in depth and when players are regularly under performing, theres no one good enough to bring on as replacements.

I wasn't able to go today. Was that a good move? Back to usual win 1 lose 1 mediocrity by the sounds of it

Utter rubbish. Not a proper shot on goal in 94 minutes.

Yes indeed. We had plenty of chances but no-one capable of scoring.
Not looking good.

We should have got something out of that game today....but our lack of quality up front has cost us.

3 or 4 times second half both Maddison and Edwards whipped quality crosses across their six yard box....but no one reacted quick enough to take the chance.

Our decision to go into the season with 4 inexperienced strikers at this level is coming back to bite us now. Marriott needs an experienced target man alongside him.

Grant MOM for me....and even he was below par.

Another disappointing day.

Gary Bowyer yet another to come to Fortress ABAX with a plan, and smash and grab us.

He won't be the last either.

Maybe we should have given him the gig when he applied after Meddles left. Did a decent job at Blackburn and has at Blackpool too. Two clubs under the cosh.

Re: the striker, let's stick in an audacious bid for Kieffer Moore in January. Dour Mick only paid ten bags for him and getting 50x his money in a few months would make those silver eyebrows raise.

Or how about Eoin Doyle who's currently ripping it up for Oldham. They managed to get him on loan from Preston. Would Darragh be prepared to sign another 30 yo?

We're desperate for the experience up front that Grant and Taylor give the defence and midfield.

Posh were pedestrian yesterday, relying too much on wonder strikes from the likes of Maddison.

....Or tap ins from Marriott.

Truth is...he's dryed up and is in danger of burn out with the burden of carrying our non existent forward line.

If Darragh thinks they got our summer recruitment "spot on" when it came to the strikers...then he's fooling no one.

We may as well have kept CMS....
