Posh have to play midweek games same as all clubs. It's no good saying we could do without it or being a doom and gloom merchant. They train during the weekdays as you know. Besides it might all come good.
I'm aware of that.

My point is...This Replay is a game we don't need.

We should have put this tie to bed at home
We would have done if we had not played total rubbish.
Exactly. We allowed Tranmere to draw the game and we now have to face the consequences.
All we have to do is win and most of us will be happy.

Windy and Junior are out somebody has to step up!
IMHO it's a shame we let Dangermouse go out on loan, surely he would be no better or worse than Kanu
I started a joke that had the whole world crying
But I didn't see that the joke was on me

Penfold to become our week-in, week-out replacement for Junior?

Couldn't make it up.

Penfold would be miles behind Kanu in terms of development....

He's never kicked a ball for us in a competitive game...and has struggled to get regular game time at Biggleswade and Boston.

Nowhere near ready to step up.

So I'm wrong as usual, nothing strange there.

Have you ever seen Penfold or Kanu play to justify your post?

Kanu has been at Manchester United...Aston Villa...and played a season at Aldershot in the national league. He is clearly well thought of. Whether our coaching staff will be able to improve him time will tell.

Penfold has played a couple of pre season friendlies and a handful of games at southern league level.

There's no comparison.

Back on topic-
The referee for tonight's game is Michael Salisbury.
He has handed out 34 yellows and only 1 red so far this season.
So, Maddison should be OK with his play acting and even Grant should be safe.

Kanu had the game at his mercy and bottled. I don't care who he's turned out for, he's not up to Posh standards.

McCann is as much to blame as anybody, he assumed the match was in the bag and failed to sufficiently motivate his players..... as was evident on the pitch.
