Have no doubt Tony it will be on here, londonroad.net, Twitter and Facebook before the draw has finished, unless of course we are last ones out of the hat.

Truro are the first Cornish side in the first round since 1969, when Falmouth were beaten 4-1 by Posh.

We need any team that we can beat.

Posh v Tranmere Rovers FA Cup

Post by tonyp » 16 Oct 2017, 22:36

Here we go on the road to Wembley.
Odds for Posh to win the FA Cup are 250 to 1.
You can get about 5000 to 1 for Tranmere to win at Wembley.
We should start thinking about who we hope to get in round 2.
Not going. We'll win 4-2. Maddison, Miller, Marriott and Edwards scoring the goals.

Official site
It will bring back good memories for chairman Darragh MacAnthony, he subsidised coach travel for Posh fans to Prenton Park in 2006 when goals from Danny Crow earned a 2-1 success. Posh beat Tranmere 5-0 in 2013 with Britt Assombalonga scoring a hat-trick.
Another easy win coming up!

Why is it a Pony draw?
Rovers fans am sure will be disappointed, if only for the journey they have to make, but they have a great support will probably bring 500-1000 so a good atmosphere guaranteed, and even considering our current form (theirs is no better by the way) surely it gives us a great chance to progress....... Doesn't it?

It's a good draw.

The FA Cup for a club like us....Means getting to the 3rd round in the hope of a money spinner like last season.

Home to a non league side is as good as it gets at this stage.
