anybody know when tickets go on sale, I know we will be able to pay on the day, but could do with another 10 points in the loyalty scheme

You save £2 by buying in advance. You can either print out the ticket, or the scanners can read the barcode off your phone screen. Under 18s are just a quid, £10 for adults, £5 for seniors.
cheers, I would like to buy mine via Posh as we then get loyalty points, which help us secure tickets for bigger games (assuming you boys don't knock us out)

Your club's website is just pointing you to the same site. I don't think we do paper tickets any more.

Found myself a local pub that does BT Sport apparently if there's a game on they play it, just wait until they find out who's on.

Tranmere fan here...

Looking forward to our replay, although I doubt you'll underestimate us the second time around and I fully expect you to show your class!

To anybody who is planning on travelling, the main new addition since your last visit is the Fan Park beer tent in the main car park, which has decent craft and international ales and is always away fan friendly. There's a good atmosphere inside, and the money goes to the Trust rather than to a pub chain. Stick your head in instead of disappearing straight into the stadium.

Parking... loads at the club for £5. The streets in the immediate vicinity are resident permit holders only, but park five minute walk away and you're fine. The streets off the Bebington end of Borough Road (i.e. South) are leafier and safe, it gets a bit more 'urban' as you travel North towards Birkenhead! We park on Chiltern Road and have never had problems or seen anyone else with problems.

If you're travelling by train, I'd advise getting off at Rock Ferry rather than Birkenhead Central and walking up. It's not the most affluent part of town, but there's rarely (if ever) trouble outside of the derby games.

The Cowsheds is your stand... a steeply raked 2,500 seater end, which I presume will be enough seats... ;)

We've seen three Quarter Finals in the FA Cup this century, so it feels a bit odd to be the non-league underdog in this tie.... such is our catastrophic collapse out of the league. We'll be back eventually...

Have a safe trip!
thanks buddy, looks and sounds perfect, will give it a try
This is a great initiative and the exact opposite of what some crappy pub in Scunny was trying to tempt us with the other week.
