Bond
Shepherd- Cartwright - Taff - Hughes
Edwards - Grant - LDSL - Maddison
Penfold - Marriott

Nice try.
I agree it is a nice try.

But I guess that McCann will persevere with Forrester instead of LDSL and Miller instead of Penfold.

Nice try for a wind up...and looking for a reaction was my point.

Not at all, if Chettle is available I'd have him in preference to Leo

I'd go 4-4-1-1 here, drop Miller to the bench and start Lloyd behind Marriott.

We won't of course, GM will go with two up front and not run the risk of upsetting the big man. Not sure how he'll work Cartwright and Penfold into the XI, but both have to start apparently.

I'm wondering if this might be the game where the players give up completely and take a hammering.

Southend are in no form and just lost 3-0 to Wigan but Orange Phil will be loving the chance to put it right against us, same as usual. They smashed us to pieces at our place last season and a repeat is on the cards.

Time to pay Joe Coral a visit methinks.

Every chance Bassett will use this game as a chance to revert back to his favoured 3-5-2 formation....Enabling Leo to get a start.

Don't like the look of the up and coming fixtures...We could end up on a long losing run here and a quick descend down the table.

Still....If we can't mentally cope with playing sides on long losing runs in the bottom four, we may as well take on those nearer the top.

Can't imagine anybody being that stupid, where did you hear such a thing, perhaps someon has posted something and you are claiming it as your own. No wait, I see it now, somebody did say they couldn't do worse, is that the same as saying they must be fitted in. I think not. Your 4-4-1-1 would be afar better system as we obviously don't have the players to fit in 3-5-2

Until they find out that the teams near the top are...good.

Proper 'tough games', not like Oldham and Gillingham.

Imagine facing the likes of Josh Morris after you've just made the List-Parker combo look like Messi and Ronaldo.

The manager must be worried about this game. If he is not then he ruddy well should be.

He should be concerned that the players will perform to his instructions and bring home 3 points.
Some will think that his instructions will be the wrong ones. Others will think that the players can't follow them.
We should be hoping that he gets them to play to their potential and win the game.

The big problem is.....for the previous 3 games they haven't.....WHY?

All the money has been for Posh.

We're now 6-4 to win, with Southend pushing towards 2-1. Easy money!!!!!!

If Posh hit potential 6-4 is a massively good price.

If i was you Ceenitall....I'd grab the 2/1 Southend.

Injury hit or not...That's the value here.

A result like that would be near fatal for GM!
