You're right, a forum is no place for opinions.

Why is it fans have a go at the players who play for us. Always moaning and groaning and now this time its for ldsl. Let's give the lad encouragement instead of slating him. The people who see him train daily obviously have faith in him so why shouldn't we. Just give the lad a chance.

UTP
Do you honestly think people just wake up and decide to take against a certain player?
No, it takes a lot of ineptitude over a period of time to get loyal POSH on your back.
Now we know what Leo is good at :)

Shame because the supporters wanted him to do well as 'one of our own'.

No they don't just wake up like it they try and find a scape goat, normally it's maddison and diving or not being interested.

So if he is that bad why are our management team playing him? You know the professional people who get paid for picking the teams week in week out? Not the keyboard warriors on a forum thank God.

Whenever anyone plays they will get my full support.

Yes people this is a forum but to keep on moaning about players who want to play for us is rubbish.

Say what you like about the Great British public but they usually get it right.

Even I can admit the baying crowd were ultimately right about Tom Nichols.

We have a stubborn owner who takes a lot of convincing over certain players.

LDSL has now made over 50 starts for us and scored twice. Please tell me the last time he was even close to MOTM?

Lloyd pushed his name above GTTM's with his first-half display v Cobblers and, unless we go back to a back three (God forbid), there's no room for him in the starting XI currently. GOOD.

For whatever reason...Grant seems intent on accommodating LDSL somewhere in his starting eleven.

So much so...He played him in about 4 different positions last Saturday.

I don't think he's even ready for the first team...let alone good enough.

He gets pushed off the ball way to easily for my liking...He's a boy playing against men.

This type of reasoning is quite popular on this forum. Eventually you might notice the echo.

Gwion and Anthony Grant have both turned in half a dozen MOTM performances apiece already.

Jack Marriott is joint highest scorer in any of the leagues with nine goals.

Give me a reason why we should champion LDSL?

Besides which, nobody on here has been that harsh tbh. He's been cut more than enough slack. He's had a couple of seasons under the radar on here.

If you want to see harsh, go look at the comments posted on facebook on match days.

Jesus!
I don't know how old you are but if you got a terrible meal at a restaurant would you complain?
Any of the 'moaners' would be delighted not to have anything/anyone to moan at.
If Leo had been 'picked on' from day one I would agree with you but he has been given the support one of our own always gets.
Points are made about players who have given poor displays, as much as you don't like it Leo has had more than anyone.
When he does well he'll get praise.
As to why he keeps on getting picked I will hold my opinion.

If Posh play their best systems 4-4-2 or 4-3-3, I see no way on current form that LDSL would get in the first eleven. The same thought should be gifted to Miller, Baldwin and Forrester

Leo De Silva Lopes does have a fancy name though. The sort you see in the Premiership.
I'm changing my name by deed poll to Raybrizziana Del Ray Fabracazooney. That just might get me a contract. What do yer think?
