The commentary is nothing to shout about but it seems to be nearly all Posh. Only a few minutes to go. Danny Lloyd man of the match.
Could be a penalty shoot out.

4 minutes of injury time and the commentators now say Northampton are playing better.

1-1. Penalties it is then.
Very funny commentators just said that if Anthony Grant takes one he'll get a yellow card! :clap2:

Ricky did better but probably the most embarrassing dive ever for his yellow card. I'm sure the usual ones on here that berate Maddison over similar antics will do the same to the Golden Boy

Danny Lloyd must now be pressing for a start v Gills. Not MOTM for me, though, Grant wins that by a mile. Again. From Shephard. Basing it on 90mins but obv Lloyd ran out of puff.

Liam Shephard is an outstanding young right-back.

LSDL remains a waste of a shirt.

Doughty is always better when he has his mate alongside.

Like O'Malley a lot but inexperience showed in the shootout.

Hughes, Taylor, Taff, Shephard should be our back four for the forseeable barring injuries. We should not play three at the back for the rest of the season. Wobblers are pretty toothless but they never looked remotely like scoring from open play against a four protected by AG.

I didn't think much of Doughty tonight. Looks like he lacks bottle in a challenge but some cracking distribution. I'm still on the fence... O'Malley looks promising but currently has the distribution of Olejnik.

They should have substituted O'Malley in the last couple of minutes and brought Tyler on. He would have saved all of the Cobblers penalty shots. And he could have taken one successfully too.

Shepard different class last night and plays like a veteran. He confounds me how he intercepts so calmly. Lloyd has the determination to chase the game and create. Kanu and Marriott would work well with Maddison behind them.

Miller to get a red card before he scores a goal.
