Not sure what the year was, perhaps someone can tell, it's got to get aroun 1957,8,9 or 60 I would think

I don't know when Wycliffe actually took the photo but the floodlights were erected in 1960.

Did we not play Arsenal for the opening of the floodlights?? with little Joe Haverty starring. I attended with the WIFE!!!!!!
8th February 1960, Crowd 17,655 and we were still in the Midland League. The next Season we started in the Football League.

I was on the Glebe Road side. You would have been in the main stand especially as you took your wife!!

I went to both, but memory has severed ties from the Arsenal game, something was special about that back then. I think at the time Blackpool were the bigger name.
