McCann said we're in a good run of form. You couldn't make it up could you?
Well, he did didn't he?
.... and he got it right too! :comeon:

As is one win.

According to some on here, one swallow does make a summer.

Two ordinary mid-table teams. Pompey missed Pitman massively and had a striker playing centre-back.

You can only beat what's in front of you but please, let's not get carried away.

...But you just know they will.

They certainly won't see that banana skin waiting for us at Rochdale on Saturday.

You know, we won tonight. Could people be happy about that? Even we can't lose until Saturday afternoon.

So on a positive note we are running at a run rate of 1.5 points per game, which gets us mid table, which is about what we would have expected at the beginning of the season, so all still to play for, pre Pompy
Between 12th and 9th or something is where I think we'll finish up. Since Junior got injured we haven't had a partner for Marriott, and the lack of goals has exposed the fact that we can't buy a clean sheet at the other end of pitch.
We're picking up the odd few points here and there, but we're not going to make a promotion push this season.

I'm afraid that augurs badly for McCann.

Good for you Stuie...

Let's hope we don't play them back into form as we have every other struggling side we've played this season.

When you and Bristle get going, I doubt whether you'll be slipping on many banana skins!
I envy you the great time you will have.
