match officials for Wigan game

Experienced referee Chris Sarginson takes charge of this top three clash between Posh and former Premier League side Wigan Athletic.

Sarginson is in his 10th full season as a Football League official during which time he has officiated Posh eleven times and the Latics just twice!

The last time the Staffordshire-based referee took charge of a Posh match, three players received their marching orders! It was in a League One match at the ABAX Stadium between Posh and Rochdale last February.

We have had one decent official all season.
I predict it'll be a long time until we get another one.

The referee for tomorrow’s #pufc game against #oufc will be his first ever League One match, having only ref’d four previous FL matches (L2)

Oh great!

Stroud has been doing it for 87 years and is still clueless as we all saw the other week

Excellent ref today.

Let the game flow as Oxford ran riot against our show ponies.

Did a good job, tried to play the advantage several times but pulled play back a couple of times when it didn't work out. He let play flow for a bad Oxford foul, and then booked the offending player afterwards. Good to see.

Very good display.
He will soon learn though and be dragged down.

Watching Posh for all these years has made you so cynical.
